I've added an option to ignore items by item level and/or by source. For example, if you want to ignore all items with an item level below 200, just choose "<" and type in "200". If you want to ignore items from a certain source, e.g. heroic Naxxramas, just tick the checkbox "Naxxramas (H)". There are also a few special sources in the list, e.g. "Buyable", "Created", "Token", "Vendor". Just play around with it a little - it will make your item lists shorter and clearer.
You will notice that I also changed the appearance of the stats form (if you have Javascript enabled, that is). I arranged different sets of options in tabs, so the form doesn't take half the page anymore and is also more readable. I hope you like it!
Next task: Ignore certain weapon types, if you can't carry them due to your talent spec. (Example: Titan's Grip warriors can't wear polearms/staves.) - suggested by Auzerais (thanks!) - Coming soon!

What is this site for?
WoW Item Comparison is a tool to compare World of Warcraft items depending on your very own needs and wishes.
It allows you to enter your personally preferred weighting of stats (such as intellect, stamina, attack power, spell power etc.) in order to generate lists of items from which you will benefit most.
Originally inspired by wow-item.info, this site was mainly created to prevent "profile spam" by allowing users to register and edit their existing profiles when they have made a mistake or changed their mind about a certain stat.
How does it work?
If you are already familiar with wow-item.info you will have no problems finding your way around here. You can browse existing profiles by clicking the class links in the menu. Or sign up and create your own profiles.
If this is totally new to you and you don't know how to calculate the values of certain stats, just have a look at the help page.
